Yoga, Climbing, and Paddling
Today was a fun-filled day to say the least. It was a very sunny and happy Saturday in Duluth. I started my day with an outdoor yoga class by the lake with my friend at Endion Station. It was hosted by Evolve, a fitness studio that I have been a part of in the past, and involved the yoga class and a drawing. It was a great way to start my day.

I spent the afternoon volunteering at the Climbing Rendezvous, an event put on by the Duluth Climbers Coalition for the public at Ely’s Peak. I had a lot of fun being outside, belaying for a few climbers, and having the chance to climb myself.
Another friend of mine, who was also volunteering, and I went kayaking on Lake Superior after we finished helping out at the climbing event. I will be leading a sea kayaking trip in early August for a group of incoming freshmen at St. Scholastica, so it was good for me to get out in the boats before then; it was my first time taking the sea kayaks out this summer.
It was a busy, active, and rewarding day. I really enjoyed soaking up the sun and having the chance to do three of the things I love to do most all in one day. Duluth is truly one of the greatest outdoor cities, and I really experienced it for what it can be today.
