    Emily's Bio:
I am a senior majoring in communication and minoring in photography. The College of St. Scholastica has been a great place for me to be throughout my college journey. I am fascinated by the world and am currently studying abroad at Regent's University London in England. I live for the little things and the adventures I stumble upon everyday. In my free time I enjoy practicing yoga, listening to and writing music, taking pictures, and exploring.

The Friday Cable

It’s Friday, which means The Cable is out and distributed around The College of St. Scholastica’s campus. Page 6, this week’s featured section, holds my story about the CSS Alumnus Aaron T. Rose. After graduating from CSS, where he studied English, philosophy, and held the role as Editor-in-Chief at The Cable, Rose went on to teach English in Egypt and became a successful photojournalist in Cairo, Egypt during his second stay there. Unfortunately, he now faces the need for an immediate heart transplant and is back in Minnesota waiting for his new heart. Despite this new challenge, he has plans to keep traveling the world, to revisit journalism one day, and to go skydiving. This piece tells Rose’s amazing story from CSS to Egypt to now, needing a heart transplant. He is one incredible, inspiring, courageous, and unique individual. I put a lot of hard work and effort into this story, and it just may be one of my favorite pieces I have had the opportunity to write.
