    Emily's Bio:
I am a senior majoring in communication and minoring in photography. The College of St. Scholastica has been a great place for me to be throughout my college journey. I am fascinated by the world and am currently studying abroad at Regent's University London in England. I live for the little things and the adventures I stumble upon everyday. In my free time I enjoy practicing yoga, listening to and writing music, taking pictures, and exploring.

Terra Firma

Although I may be writing this post from Minneapolis, it is devoted to sharing my appreciation for the city of Duluth; it has become my home over the past three years. I do still feel the most at home when I am with my family, but Duluth is the ‘place’ I feel the most at home. I have truly come to love the city. Terra Firma, of latin origin, means firm ground. And, in Duluth, I have found my own firm ground. I feel grounded there because of the community, the energy, the lake, the nature, my friends, and more. I am excited to be in the cities, but I always look forward to being back in Duluth again.
