    Emily's Bio:
I am a senior majoring in communication and minoring in photography. The College of St. Scholastica has been a great place for me to be throughout my college journey. I am fascinated by the world and am currently studying abroad at Regent's University London in England. I live for the little things and the adventures I stumble upon everyday. In my free time I enjoy practicing yoga, listening to and writing music, taking pictures, and exploring.

Summer 2016 Plans

It seems like it could be ages away, but the reality is summer 2016 will creep up sooner than I know. I plan to enjoy every moment of the spring semester, but it is also important that I plan ahead for the summer. As a junior in college, it is time to start thinking further ahead. I will hopefully be studying abroad in the fall and will need to save for the experience over the summer. I also hope to continue finding work experience. I am really enjoying my internship at The Red Herring Lounge in Duluth and hope to continue helping there as long as I can. I am thinking about this now, because one of my CSS friends had an interview this week for a really important internship. Landing a place in such an internship program would give her the opportunity to learn in a very hands on environment and could be the very key she needs to solidifying a job after college. It sounds like the interview went well, and I am very happy for her. Hearing about her experience has made me realize how close I am to discovering the next chapter in my life, the one that comes after I graduate from CSS.
