    Emily's Bio:
I am a senior majoring in communication and minoring in photography. The College of St. Scholastica has been a great place for me to be throughout my college journey. I am fascinated by the world and am currently studying abroad at Regent's University London in England. I live for the little things and the adventures I stumble upon everyday. In my free time I enjoy practicing yoga, listening to and writing music, taking pictures, and exploring.

Spookie Style

Today was Thursday, which means tonight was the beginning of our second weekend of performing Zara Spook and Other Lures. I am so honored to be a part of such a talented cast. I have learned so much from this experience, and I am so grateful to our director, Tammy Ostrander, for trusting me with such an incredible opportunity. In addition to gaining acting experience, I feel like I have gained some great friends through my involvement in the show. Everyone has been so caring, helpful, kind, positive, and inclusive.

Part of our routine for getting ready involves me doing my cast mate, Shayna’s, hair. And then, Shayna goes on to do Lindsey’s makeup. As silly as it may seem, to share our experience of getting ready for the show, I feel as though it is a great example of the community at the CSS Theatre. Everyone is willing to share a helping hand if it is needed. We have had to make adjustments to the show, due to a recent actor injury, and I have been blown away by the amount of care and consideration that has been shown throughout the situation. Cheers to another weekend full of shows, laughs, and smiles.
