    Emily's Bio:
I am a senior majoring in communication and minoring in photography. The College of St. Scholastica has been a great place for me to be throughout my college journey. I am fascinated by the world and am currently studying abroad at Regent's University London in England. I live for the little things and the adventures I stumble upon everyday. In my free time I enjoy practicing yoga, listening to and writing music, taking pictures, and exploring.

Saturday Activities

The sun is shining brightly today in Duluth. I am happy about both the sun and it being Saturday, because it means I have time to enjoy the day without having to think about the week to come just yet. I greeted the day with a yoga class at Evolve downtown with one of my good friends. She stayed for the spin class afterwards, and, while I waited for her, I spent some time walking and exploring on the Lakewalk trail. It is a beautiful place to walk, bike, rollerblade, or run. The views of Lake Superior are wonderful, and it is quite scenic for being right next to the city.

After our morning workout, we went to Amazing Grace in Canal Park for a lovely lunch combination of soups and sandwiches. I had a delicious curry sweet potato soup and a loaded vegetable sandwich on a perfectly flavored focaccia bread. We chose to round out our morning activities with a warm crafted latte from Duluth Coffee Company, also downtown, while we did our best to be a bit productive and proactive. I am working ahead on some digital photography projects and working on getting a few other miscellaneous things done. It has been a Saturday well spent in Duluth.
