Northern Explorers: 56 Nights
As a co-president of a club on campus, we are encouraged to organize and host one or multiple 56 nights events on campus. A 56 night event gives us students an opportunity to do something fun on campus over the weekend. It can be anything from arts and crafts, movie nights, game nights, to dancing.
We, the Northern Explorers Club, decided to host an activity night in the Burns Wellness Commons with free pizza for those who decided to join us. We did not have the largest of turn outs, but we did indeed have fun. We had students who came to rock climb, play Just Dance on the Xbox, try Slacklining and to just hang out. We are hosting one more 56 nights event, our third of the year, in April and we hope it will be our best one yet.
