New Perspective
When I first arrived in London, it was easy for me to get wrapped up in seeing the city, to make friends, and to settle in to this incredible city. In the midst of all the excitement, I fell out of touch with the balance I had crafted within myself. Throughout the past week, I have taken life, and this experience, back into my own hands. I am letting my heart lead the way again. No longer will I let my mind try to convince me otherwise. I have been spending more time on my own, listening to what my heart and soul are telling me, devoting more time to my studies, and making sure to practice yoga as often as possible. I am reminded that I am here to continue discovering myself and working through my internal battles. I may have had myself and life figured out in Duluth, Minnesota, but, here in London, I have been greeted with the chance to further better myself and grow as a human being. I will be the first to admit that I feel challenged here, but I would not want it any other way. I savor a life filled with twists, turns, challenges, and moments of unexpectedness.
