    Emily's Bio:
I am a senior majoring in communication and minoring in photography. The College of St. Scholastica has been a great place for me to be throughout my college journey. I am fascinated by the world and am currently studying abroad at Regent's University London in England. I live for the little things and the adventures I stumble upon everyday. In my free time I enjoy practicing yoga, listening to and writing music, taking pictures, and exploring.

Moving Forward

This evening was my first night off since Sunday evening, and, technically, I have worked every day since Friday. Last weekend, being Grandma’s Marathon, was a whirlwind at work in Canal Park. I was able to visit my family at a lake in Grand Rapids Sunday evening to Monday morning after the craziness of the weekend, but I went right back to work the evening I returned. This summer has been all about working to save money for my experience abroad in London this coming fall semester, but I am finding just enough time for rest and relaxation. Although this week I could have used a few extra hours of sleep here and there, I have made it through in one piece. I have rediscovered my love and passion for work and earning my keep. I am grateful for my opportunity to continue living in Duluth for the summer, and I am so lucky to have such incredible summer jobs, nannying, working at Canal Park Brewing Company, {and blogging here}.
