Exploring Minnehaha Falls

Although I planned to spend the majority of my spring break at home in Rochester, due to some car troubles I had to stay in the cities for a couple of nights. I made the most of the experience and ended up having a really fun time while I was there. A good friend of mine from St. Scholastica lives in the cities and let me stay at her place until I could figure things out with my car.

The day after my car had quit on me, we had to bring my car keys to the dealer where my car had been towed to, which was nearly an hour away. We made a day of it, though. Minneapolis stood between my friend’s house and the car dealership, so we decided to explore Minnehaha Falls along the way. We both have an interest in photography and brought our cameras. It was a beautiful day.

I am working towards a minor in photography and am currently taking a digital photography course. I’m hoping to use some of the photos I took at Minnehaha Falls for the class. Despite my unfortunate car troubles, I was able to enjoy the few days I got to spend in the cities.
