    Emily's Bio:
I am a senior majoring in communication and minoring in photography. The College of St. Scholastica has been a great place for me to be throughout my college journey. I am fascinated by the world and am currently studying abroad at Regent's University London in England. I live for the little things and the adventures I stumble upon everyday. In my free time I enjoy practicing yoga, listening to and writing music, taking pictures, and exploring.

Evening Paints and Views

In my Painting II course Thursday, we began work on a full color, value representative painting. It has proven to be a challenge, but I persevere. We are painting colored plastic cups and objects. I do know and realize that this exercise is very beneficial, but I think I would have more motivation towards painting something I am passionate about. Today, I spent just over an hour working on my painting. I noticed some improvement as I continued to layer on the paint. I am looking forward to wrapping up this project and seeing what the rest of the semester holds. I can only hope that this project will help me to be more successful in my paintings to come.
