COR Leadership Training
St. Scholastica offers a number of leadership workshops throughout the school year to leaders on campus involved in a variety of different clubs, programs, etc. As a leader for the Outdoor Pursuit program, I attended one of the training sessions today. It was a diversity training workshop; I found the session very insightful and interesting. I learned a lot of new skills, ideas, and even gained some confidence as a leader. It’s important, as a leader and as an individual, to include others and create a welcoming environment. Through the workshop, I was reminded of and taught new ways that I can help encourage the inclusion of all.
