Collages in Alt Methods
Today in Alternative Photography Methods, we created our very own collages. I began by paging through a Vogue magazine I had at home. I cut out words and images that I found a liking for, and that, in turn, represented a part of myself. Although it may not be apparent to all the eyes who meet it, there is a meaning behind the madness of my collage. I enjoy the way pictures and letters can come together to create a message, and I think that is a large part of why I am so passionate in my study of Communication. My collage came together on its own, but it was influenced by my being and my sense of self. Eventually, I will turn my collage into a negative, and, from which, make Cyanotype or Van Dyke style prints.
