Ceiling Contemplation
Today, I realized that I have hit a certain road block in my semester. It is a recurrent road block that seems to appear half way through each semester of my schooling. My passion for learning seems to turn into a sense of worry for what is to come next, instead of enjoying and embracing what is here and now, and I begin to struggle in finding motivation. Most of the time, my love for learning is not lost but simply pushed aside by my brain’s urge to worry. When I am faced with a phase such as this, I find it important to keep an open communication with my friends, to consciously find gratitude in my education, to reestablish my love for learning, and to simply breathe. The friends that I have met at CSS have become a wonderful support system for me, and I know I will find the strength to push through the rest of the semester. I look forward to what each day has in store for me as an undergraduate student.
