Brighton Beach
Yesterday, my new friend, Jonny, and I wandered down to Brighton Beach to explore. The motivation for our adventure was partly owed to my photography project, but nonetheless it is always refreshing to get outside. We spent a decent amount of time admiring the great Lake Superior and the many ice shards that have accumulated throughout the winter. It was an absolutely stunning sight.
Despite the air being icy, and the rocks being cool as could be, I picked a spot close to the water to practice a headstand. After finding my inner peace through my practice of yoga over the past couple of years, I developed a keen desire to practice headstands in the many places I visit. I asked Jonny to step behind the lens for a moment to help me capture the moment.
After about one hour of wandering, we decided it was time to head back. I could have stayed there all day, taking in the many wondrous views and feelings, but the cold became too much to endure any longer. It was a wonderful time, exploring a little piece of the North Shore.
