Amnesty International Refugee Camp Information Session

I was recently tasked with the job of collecting information for a club I am obligated to. My job was to provide information about housing in refugee camps. What is it like to live in a refugee camp? Is it crowded? Do diseases spread easily? What kind of diseases? These are some of the questions I came to when doing this research and I have to say; the information got a bit grisly. As a part of Amnesty International club, I have a vested interest in the human rights and social justice. My experiences with Amnesty have been nothing less than extraordinary in my time here at Scholastica. I would advise all prospective students to at some point get involved in a social justice club.
