    Dina's Bio:
Whether I am helping a student take the next step after college, facilitating a career workshop or organizing group runs through the trails over the noon hour, I am always working, playing and living well in the great north woods. I came to Duluth and St. Scholastica four years ago. I adore the big city life and still love playing in it, but most of the time I am enjoying the woods and all the beautiful things northern Minnesota has to offer. Connect with me on LinkedIn and follow me on Twitter and Pinterest.

What do people find when they google you?

Did you know that today most employers google candidates and either hire or do not hire based on their search results?

Personal branding is not a new phenomena, but social media has provided people with the keys and the microphone for their future success (Dan Schawbel). On Thursday I will be facilitating a high energy personal branding workshop for students on campus. It will be a lot of fun and I intend on providing participants with the resources necessary to enhance their personal brand and online identity; share general job searching and career tips; and put our Saints in the social media driver’s seat!

To boot, this morning I came across this article in The New York Times. The timing is perfect.

What does your brand say about you? Own it!

Dina

P.S. If you are on or near campus the workshop is at 4:00 in Tower 3121. I hope to see you there! (Free, casual dress and no registration required.)
