Upcoming Change for International Students

For almost 15 years Alison Champeaux has been the Director of the International Programs and will be leaving her position this semester. During her time here she has assisted International students starting from the moment in which they apply up to when they get to be part of the CSS community. I first heard of her when two of my siblings became CSS students, and I can say that she has had a great impact on my family. International students go through several paperwork processes in order to get our student visa, permissions to work off campus, permissions to work upon graduation, among others. Besides being a resource for internationals she is also part of our support system. She has probably seen way too many students be vulnerable as a result of all the changes that we are experiencing combined with the uncertainties that international students go through when struggling to afford school and being able to receive a work visa. Alison has been of great help to international students, and seeing who will take over her position will be quite interesting.
