SBT Career Summit

The School of Business and Technology held its first Career Summit today. This event was organized by MBA student Zhara Davies, along in hand with Career Services and other CSS students. I got to attend the 2nd session which included the following talks: ” Networking 101 – How to Build Personal Relationships” and “Digital Branding- Your Digital Personal”. Both Amsoil’s Rob Stenberg and Aimclear’s Manny Rivas delivered very interesting presentations. Through the first one I had the opportunity to learn more about how to establish a conversation in which I get to connect with whom I am speaking to by asking them more about themselves. The second talk revolved around the different platforms one can use to keep up to date with the different industries, as well as emphasized on the impact our social media accounts can have when being considered for future job opportunities.
