Oscar Romero’s event

As I walked through Tower I read a poster that caught my attention as it referenced my home country El Salvador. Tomorrow at 7 pm an event will be taking place in Science 3312 in which Dr. Jennifer Carolina Gomez Menjivar will taking about Oscar Romero’s Legacy. Oscar Romero used to be a Salvadoran priest who is in the process of being canonized. According to the poster, the event will be centered around Romero’s legacy in El Salvador and Beyond. As Romero fought for the poor this will be without a doubt a very interesting talk to listen to.
