Online textbooks vrs Paper Textbooks

Yesterday, a friend and I were discussing the books we were to purchase for this upcoming semester. I mentioned to her that last Spring I had decided to get only online versions of my textbooks, as I could access a computer in almost every single one of my classes. Having taken this decision was one that helped me save some money. Instead of renting a physical copy of my textbooks, the electronic versions of these were significantly cheaper. The downside of this was that for some classes especially those Finance related, I consider that it is easier having the physical copy. From being able to study without being distracted by social media up to forgetting your laptop’s charger at home, were some of the cons I encountered. At the end of the day, you are to consider which version either the paper or the electronic will better suit your needs.
