Although for the past two years I have been listed as a history major, I am a GCL major. I am from Canada; Thunder Bay if you want to be exact and yes, I am actually one of the only Canadians you will find who does not play hockey. I work at the front desk of the Burns Wellness Commons I have two of the greatest jobs ever and I even get to play my favorite sport here full time being on the tennis team. I'm looking forward to a great start to my junior year.

Interested in Peace and Justice studies?

So our campus got a new major last year and for those who might be thinking of working towards helping others or foreign relations the Peace and Justice Studies major may be a great option for you. I’ve taken two classes in the major now, it’s run by Tom Morgan, and it’s been an excellent learning experience thus far. You learn what really are the driving factors behind revolutions and what are root causes for peace and justice issues. If you have a spare elective I highly suggest trying out one of these classes, you may be pleasantly surprised.
