    Daniel's Bio:
Although for the past two years I have been listed as a history major, I am a GCL major. I am from Canada; Thunder Bay if you want to be exact and yes, I am actually one of the only Canadians you will find who does not play hockey. I work at the front desk of the Burns Wellness Commons I have two of the greatest jobs ever and I even get to play my favorite sport here full time being on the tennis team. I'm looking forward to a great start to my junior year.

Gcl as a major?

I get asked all the time exactly what my major is, and what I plan on doing with my major. I usually have two answers for people. 1. Global, cultural, and language studies. And 2. I plan on using this major to find myself a job that will help me travel the world and continue to learn more about cultures in a way many people never get to experience. This could be through politics (ie: becoming a diplomat/ trying to work within the UN) or working with a government or even a non government organization like Free the Children. Either way, my major is something that I cannot wait to see where it leads me in life and hopefully you give it a good look when deciding your major in the future.
