    Diamond's Bio:
Hey ya'll. My name's Diamond Hollins. I'm a transfer student from Minneapolis. Two things I love talking about are football and video games. My favorite teams are the Carolina Panthers and the Minnesota Vikings. I've been a Nintendo kid all my life, although PlayStation has great titles, too. The blogs I'll be writing about will reflect my feelings towards activities and places at St. Scholastica. Hopefully I'll not only allow you to get to know St. Scholastica, but to get to know me as well!

Gina Messina-Dysert Lecture

Last Thursday, I went to a Lecture led by Dr. Gina Messina-Dysert. She has a degree in Women studies in religion and theology ethics. She mainly addressed how religion portrays to women and how women are used and seen in religious practices and places. She also attacked how domestic violence has been “normalized” throughout society. Her speech was really eye-opening and a welcome look into violence and how it is perpetuated through society.
