Good Reads on Entrepreneurship
A lot of students I’ve met with over the past year have expressed desire in eventually starting their own business. I realize, based on the current state of economical affairs, this is an even headier challenge today. However, these two articles I read this week really spoke to the optimism surrounding starting your own business.
I’m a self-proclaimed logophile (lover of words). The article “What’s an Entrepreneur? The Best Answer Ever” really appeals to me with its 25-word definition to this question.
The second is an interview with Erin McKenna, founder and owner of Babycakes NYC, a bakery that makes mostly gluten-free, completely vegan and low-sugar baked goods. I have their first cookbook and as a GF person who loves treats, it’s pretty much gold manifested in the form of a printed book. I loved the article because she speaks candidly about her fearlessness to follow her passion and get her business off the ground.
Happy Reading!
