    Courtney's Bio:
I'm an Elementary Education major at CSS. I also plan to minor in Spanish. Having done PSEO, I came to CSS with more than 60 credits. I'm part of Volunteers Involved Through Action (VITA), Students Today Leaders Forever (STLF), and other clubs! Dance has been part of my life for 10 years, and now I'm trying to fit it into my schedule again. I love spending time watching Supernatural and Once Upon a Time, and reading Harry Potter and other great books. I live in a suite with 3 other girls, and we are always finding something fun to do around campus!

Woops Did I Make Plans With You?

I had made plans with my Physics group to see  Captain America: Civil War the Tuesday of finals week. I realized the day after that I was in charge of planning it and confirming it with the others. Woops!  No one minded because we were all very preoccupied, but I still felt kind of bad. The week before finals, most people aren’t on the “let’s hangout one last time and say our goodbyes” bandwagon yet.  We had some final farewell type get-togethers that week, but most people didn’t really think about it. Finals week though, everyone was scampering to say goodbyes; any plans you had made were out the door. It’s kind of a giant free-for-all. For example, my roommate is going home to Honduras for the full summer, but our goodbye was super short, I hugged her and she walked out! Everyone has different times they’re leaving, different prioritized tests to study for, last minute errands to run; no one expects to make time for each other. Ah, finals life.
