    Courtney's Bio:
I'm an Elementary Education major at CSS. I also plan to minor in Spanish. Having done PSEO, I came to CSS with more than 60 credits. I'm part of Volunteers Involved Through Action (VITA), Students Today Leaders Forever (STLF), and other clubs! Dance has been part of my life for 10 years, and now I'm trying to fit it into my schedule again. I love spending time watching Supernatural and Once Upon a Time, and reading Harry Potter and other great books. I live in a suite with 3 other girls, and we are always finding something fun to do around campus!

Roommate Disagreements

We’ve had several issues in our apartment this school year. We’ve had specific reoccurring issues which have been getting on some of our nerves. These things range to people being too loud to not doing specified chores. We had a roommate meeting about all of this and directly brought stuff up to one another, given the fact it was all stuff in our roommate contract (Res Life makes each on-campus room fill out roommate contracts). I’m hoping things get fixed and we don’t have to bring more mediators in. Typically in roommate conflicts it can escalate from roommate meetings to RA mediation, to even changing room. During freshman orientation, Megan Perry Spears will stress speaking early and often about issues, and I definitely remember that from my orientation. I wish that it hadn’t taken me until my 3rd year to apply that knowledge.
