    Courtney's Bio:
I'm an Elementary Education major at CSS. I also plan to minor in Spanish. Having done PSEO, I came to CSS with more than 60 credits. I'm part of Volunteers Involved Through Action (VITA), Students Today Leaders Forever (STLF), and other clubs! Dance has been part of my life for 10 years, and now I'm trying to fit it into my schedule again. I love spending time watching Supernatural and Once Upon a Time, and reading Harry Potter and other great books. I live in a suite with 3 other girls, and we are always finding something fun to do around campus!

Registering for Summer Class

In order to graduate in 3 years instead of 4, I’m fitting in a summer class. I’ll be taking an online course through Anoka-Ramsey, where I went for PSEO for 2 years back home. By taking my ethics course, it’ll meet my philosophy general ed requirement. I just need to meet that requirement and have my intensive writing course done this fall and I should be set. I’m kind of “blah” feeling I have to take a summer course, but it’s way better than taking it in the fall, going over the 18 credit limit, and forking over $2,000. We have a 18 credit limit for tuition so students don’t try to overdo it, like at some of the schools where my friends know people are taking 22… It’s insane. An 18 credit course load is a LOT, so I’m kind of thankful there’s that boundary. I’ll be taking my class while I’m in Duluth, so this will be interesting. It’ll be during Upward Bound and it’s a 1 month packed course, so let’s see how this goes!
