    Courtney's Bio:
I'm an Elementary Education major at CSS. I also plan to minor in Spanish. Having done PSEO, I came to CSS with more than 60 credits. I'm part of Volunteers Involved Through Action (VITA), Students Today Leaders Forever (STLF), and other clubs! Dance has been part of my life for 10 years, and now I'm trying to fit it into my schedule again. I love spending time watching Supernatural and Once Upon a Time, and reading Harry Potter and other great books. I live in a suite with 3 other girls, and we are always finding something fun to do around campus!

Rain Rain Finally Went Away

Sunday and Monday were the most dreary times of the semester. It poured and poured all day an night. Driving back from Cambridge became terrifying once I reached Carlton. The fog was so thick I could only see the car right ahead of me and the lane right beside me. Duluth is notorious for fog when it has a lot of moisture in the air. Scary and dangerous to drive in fog. I survived however. On Monday the walk to class was extremely windy and I was soaking wet wherever I hadn’t pulled my rain gear over title. It definitely proved my rain boots were a great investment. My roommate’s umbrella blew inside out and broke. The power flickered here and UMD’s power went completely out for a while. It was insane, like I said already. No other words. My friend gave me a ride back to Kerst after class which was nice. I spent the rest of the night for the most part cozies up on the couch and doing homework in my sweatpants.
