I'm an Elementary Education major at CSS. I also plan to minor in Spanish. Having done PSEO, I came to CSS with more than 60 credits. I'm part of Volunteers Involved Through Action (VITA), Students Today Leaders Forever (STLF), and other clubs! Dance has been part of my life for 10 years, and now I'm trying to fit it into my schedule again. I love spending time watching Supernatural and Once Upon a Time, and reading Harry Potter and other great books. I live in a suite with 3 other girls, and we are always finding something fun to do around campus!

Packing for College

I swear I just got back from all these summer trips and it’s time to go back to school! I definitely need to make a mandatory resting time in between these things. I never really finished cleaning my room back home, but now it’s time to pack again. It kind of makes me want to barf. Because I live on campus and had lived on campus during Upward Bound this summer, I am seriously constantly moving in and out of places. It sucks. I can’t wait to have a place to call home for at least 2 solid years. My official move in date in August 28th, so I’m counting down the 10 days I have to pack. Luckily by now, I’ve gotten a system for moving; try to pack nicely until the end, then desperately cram everything into any open space you can find in the car without blocking and views that a cop could pull you over for. I have managed quite nicely. Maybe I’ll take a picture this time. Freshman year is exciting because hello new bedding, hello decorating everything, heck even matching with your roommate. After the novelty of a new room wears off, you stop buying completely new things. I’m bring all the same bedding and decorations from last year, even for our living room. As you get older, I guess you start appreciating the regularity.
