    Courtney's Bio:
I'm an Elementary Education major at CSS. I also plan to minor in Spanish. Having done PSEO, I came to CSS with more than 60 credits. I'm part of Volunteers Involved Through Action (VITA), Students Today Leaders Forever (STLF), and other clubs! Dance has been part of my life for 10 years, and now I'm trying to fit it into my schedule again. I love spending time watching Supernatural and Once Upon a Time, and reading Harry Potter and other great books. I live in a suite with 3 other girls, and we are always finding something fun to do around campus!

Missing out or FOMO (If We Have to be Culturally Correct)

I feel with my work and class schedule I have been missing out on a ton of things. I am taking 18 credits, along with 60 hours of field experience and 8 hours a week of work. With all of that, it’s hard to find a time to fit in socializing. I’ve skipped a lot of the student activities around campus lately which makes me sad, but I’ve had to in order to prioritize my homework. Originally I had been working 12 hours a week but I cut out one day so I would have more time during the day to dedicate to my studies, instead of trying to work on things exhausted after K.E.Y. Zone. I have to purposefully put myself out there more, instead of missing out on things. I actually chose to stay on campus this year to help me make sure I stay social with everything else going on. That is my personal goal this semester, stay participating!
