    Courtney's Bio:
I'm an Elementary Education major at CSS. I also plan to minor in Spanish. Having done PSEO, I came to CSS with more than 60 credits. I'm part of Volunteers Involved Through Action (VITA), Students Today Leaders Forever (STLF), and other clubs! Dance has been part of my life for 10 years, and now I'm trying to fit it into my schedule again. I love spending time watching Supernatural and Once Upon a Time, and reading Harry Potter and other great books. I live in a suite with 3 other girls, and we are always finding something fun to do around campus!

The official midterm break was October 31st, Halloween. Because the week before was the kind of “midterm” week technically, I’m so confused as to why midterms are always scheduled for right about now. A bunch of my friends have been studying like crazy for midterms the past two weeks and I even had a midterm myself! It’s just confusing why we have it so late. I’m wondering if it’s because the professors try to push too much content they can’t have a midterm until later than actual mid-term time? I’ve always wondered… Anyway, I had a midterm today in Reading Methods! This semester we have been covering a huge amount of topics and my professor wanted to make sure we could apply our knowledge. We had our full class period to sit down and take the midterm on Blackboard. It was nice that it was on the computer, because we were also allowed to have music if it helps us concentrate. My class can be kind of noisy so that was extremely beneficial. When we were done, we were able to go and relax until we had to come back at noon for Children’s Literature. I feel pretty confident about the quiz, now I’m just waiting to see my results!
