    Courtney's Bio:
I'm an Elementary Education major at CSS. I also plan to minor in Spanish. Having done PSEO, I came to CSS with more than 60 credits. I'm part of Volunteers Involved Through Action (VITA), Students Today Leaders Forever (STLF), and other clubs! Dance has been part of my life for 10 years, and now I'm trying to fit it into my schedule again. I love spending time watching Supernatural and Once Upon a Time, and reading Harry Potter and other great books. I live in a suite with 3 other girls, and we are always finding something fun to do around campus!

It’s Been a While!

It’s been a while since I’ve blogged, but it’s because I’ve been doing lots of things! These things just have happened to be on the more personal side of things. I was in California for the past two weeks, it definitely feels good to be back in Minnesota. As I’m coming back home, it’s really made me realize how much I have become accustomed to living in Duluth. My whole life I’ve wanted to move out west near my extended family. My goal was to go to college there and get a teaching position there. Life threw me some curveballs and I wound up staying in Minnesota. I now see it as a blessing in disguise. I have totally fallen in love with Duluth. Because of my adventures, I’ve been many places. No place is as wonderful and home-like to me than Duluth. As I graduate this year and have to start planning out possible places to live, I’m really striving to stay right here at home in Duluth. I love the old, historic, beautiful houses, mixed with new hipster life, not to mention industrial aesthetics and nature. It’s such an odd, but wonderful combination. The opportunities are just perfect for me to grow educationally, artistically, even food critique-wise!
