    Courtney's Bio:
I'm an Elementary Education major at CSS. I also plan to minor in Spanish. Having done PSEO, I came to CSS with more than 60 credits. I'm part of Volunteers Involved Through Action (VITA), Students Today Leaders Forever (STLF), and other clubs! Dance has been part of my life for 10 years, and now I'm trying to fit it into my schedule again. I love spending time watching Supernatural and Once Upon a Time, and reading Harry Potter and other great books. I live in a suite with 3 other girls, and we are always finding something fun to do around campus!

Interviews, Interviews, Interviews!

I didn’t really think about this until I was getting interview offers, but interviews require you to go EVERYWHERE. And I’m realizing I will be doing a lot of travel in the next few weeks. The day of the Capstone Celebration for students teachers, I had an interview closer to the cities. In the morning, I had required seminars for graduating though. So, I went to those seminars, drove to the interview, then got back to Duluth 5 minutes before my Capstone Celebration began! After the celebration, I had to drive BACK to the cities again, this time all the way home. I had an interview in the cities early the next day and didn’t want to make the drive in the morning. In addition to these interviews, I had a FaceTime interview a few months ago for a school in Virginia. I also had to drive to the cities for a day for the MN Ed. Job Fair. Thank God I have a newer car that can afford to put on all these miles. I wonder how people do this job hunt without a car?
