    Courtney's Bio:
I'm an Elementary Education major at CSS. I also plan to minor in Spanish. Having done PSEO, I came to CSS with more than 60 credits. I'm part of Volunteers Involved Through Action (VITA), Students Today Leaders Forever (STLF), and other clubs! Dance has been part of my life for 10 years, and now I'm trying to fit it into my schedule again. I love spending time watching Supernatural and Once Upon a Time, and reading Harry Potter and other great books. I live in a suite with 3 other girls, and we are always finding something fun to do around campus!

Grades are In!

For the first time in my being at St. Scholastica, I made the Dean’s List! Wooh! I have always very narrowly escaped the elusive honor of being on the Dean’s List. Usually there was one A- instead of an A that put me just below the mark. This semester was not the case. I had a GPA of 3.75, which is exactly what you need (or higher) in order to be on the Dean’s List. This comes as great news because this was my final semester where I could impact my GPA. I am student teaching next semester and the courses are Pass/Fail courses. Pass/Fail courses do not impact your GPA. My cumulative GPA is somewhat low (in my eyes). This is because I took my first 60 credits during PSEO and they did not impact my GPA at CSS. That means I pretty much have only junior level courses and up, plus my required science courses, impacting my GPA. I kind of wish that my GPA would have included my PSEO credits because then my GPA would have been higher, but oh well. I will be graduating in May with Cum Laude honors.
