    Courtney's Bio:
I'm an Elementary Education major at CSS. I also plan to minor in Spanish. Having done PSEO, I came to CSS with more than 60 credits. I'm part of Volunteers Involved Through Action (VITA), Students Today Leaders Forever (STLF), and other clubs! Dance has been part of my life for 10 years, and now I'm trying to fit it into my schedule again. I love spending time watching Supernatural and Once Upon a Time, and reading Harry Potter and other great books. I live in a suite with 3 other girls, and we are always finding something fun to do around campus!

 Fitness Classes

I’ve been meaning to get into shape,  I really have, in fact, I have been trying to go to the gym. It’s hard with my joint problems though. In college, you walk everywhere, my knees can’t handle the gym too! Old dancer problems I guess. Last year Zumba was a great workout because it was easy on my knees, but I got a late start on fitness classes this year, now I’m freaking out because I’m going to Jamaica in less than a month. So I started researching next semester’s classes and they go a lot better with my schedule. There’s lots of low impact yoga I can do, which will help with stress too. I’m excited. I think Freshman 15 doesn’t really happen, however there is an issue as you go through college where the weight accumulates. For those with bodies worn out from childhood sports and lack of time, the excercise you once had to do is no longer a requirement, so it’s a huge discipline trying to pursue a workout regiment that’s healthy for your body.
