    Courtney's Bio:
I'm an Elementary Education major at CSS. I also plan to minor in Spanish. Having done PSEO, I came to CSS with more than 60 credits. I'm part of Volunteers Involved Through Action (VITA), Students Today Leaders Forever (STLF), and other clubs! Dance has been part of my life for 10 years, and now I'm trying to fit it into my schedule again. I love spending time watching Supernatural and Once Upon a Time, and reading Harry Potter and other great books. I live in a suite with 3 other girls, and we are always finding something fun to do around campus!

First Day of Work, Not Classes

Today I didn’t have class, again! Wooh! Somehow I managed to keep Tuesdays and Thursdays free of class. So instead, I’ll be working or doing field experience. I love the alternating breather days. So today I worked 6 hours in the Social Work Department. It was interesting meeting new grad professors and I was super happy to see past faculty and my boss. They kept us busy with lots of student questions, but I’m really excited to be back and earning money with people I like! Usually I’m the one making bulletin boards or anything creative, including all the Halloween decorations coming up. This year I’m taking a bigger responsibility as the main student worker. I’ll have more hours as well. As a freshman, student workers are only allowed to work 10 hours, however that extends longer as an upper classmen. But so does workloads from classes…. So let’s see how it goes!
