    Courtney's Bio:
I'm an Elementary Education major at CSS. I also plan to minor in Spanish. Having done PSEO, I came to CSS with more than 60 credits. I'm part of Volunteers Involved Through Action (VITA), Students Today Leaders Forever (STLF), and other clubs! Dance has been part of my life for 10 years, and now I'm trying to fit it into my schedule again. I love spending time watching Supernatural and Once Upon a Time, and reading Harry Potter and other great books. I live in a suite with 3 other girls, and we are always finding something fun to do around campus!

Exploring Nature

Today was absolutely gorgeous out! It almost hit 60, so everyone was tanning and walking around like it was 90 naturally. The place where Groves used to be has now grown grass and is the perfect place to lay out a blanket and read. I asked a few friends to do just that, but first they wanted to go walk around Chester. I thought they were crazy, walking to Chester. Chester Park is a great spot for nature walks with tons of trails and water falls. But it’s near 4th Street and Burrito Union. ¬†Which is like 10 minutes away by car. Or so I thought. It’s actually close to CSS too, because it’s THAT big. Yeah. That big. So all we had to do was walk across the street, onto the other side of Kenwood and the trail opened down to gorgeous waterfalls. I’ve been saying this a lot, but literally I’ve been here for two years and I just NOW realize this??? Nature is everywhere in Duluth. Seriously. My goal this summer is to explore more of this side of Duluth.
