Dallas Day 1!
When we got to Texas, we stopped at a truck stop and got some serious sun in. You could definitely tell we hadnt seen the sun in months. We didn’t arrive in Dallas until about 7, but somehow it was still sunny out! There was 3 other PIFT busses meeting us at the hotel, two from Illinois State and one from Michigan State. The other busses had their own little chants and songs, but the weirdest thing was their moose and dart games. The dart game played out like this; if you saw a PIF person anywhere, you could pretend to shoot them with a dart gun, and they would have to stay still until someone “pulled the dart out”. Let’s just say people were stuck on elevators for a few rides. That night we all went to In N Out, and I tried my first burger! The next day was the main volunteering event, so we actually got to bed before one.
