    Courtney's Bio:
I'm an Elementary Education major at CSS. I also plan to minor in Spanish. Having done PSEO, I came to CSS with more than 60 credits. I'm part of Volunteers Involved Through Action (VITA), Students Today Leaders Forever (STLF), and other clubs! Dance has been part of my life for 10 years, and now I'm trying to fit it into my schedule again. I love spending time watching Supernatural and Once Upon a Time, and reading Harry Potter and other great books. I live in a suite with 3 other girls, and we are always finding something fun to do around campus!

Construction Duluth

Living in Duluth in the summer time is wonderful. I love the fact that I am in such a wonderful outdoorsy place, and I actually have time to enjoy it! I can check outdoor gear out with OP, I get to play outside with kids at Lowell, the beach, so much! One big drawback of Duluth, well actually anywhere in Minnesota, is that summer means heavy construction. There’s a saying that , “Minnesota has two seasons: winter and construction season.” There is a big truth to that. As soon as it’s warm enough, road work begins. Duluth can be a total nightmare during road work. The ramp that I normally take to get to Canal and back on 35 was shut down for a few days. Also parts of Arrowhead (a nearby road where our SuperOne and Walgreens are) was shut down partially, plus College Street. Trying to navigate can be a nightmare unless you are constantly keeping an eye on the road changes. I think as I commute everyday I’ll get better.
