    Caitlin's Bio:
I’m an Advertising/Public Relations major with a concentration in production and design. I’m also minoring in management and marketing. I’m a social media assistant here at the College and love every second of it. Not only does it involve hands on experience in my major, but sets a great foundation for my future. I love to go out in Duluth and spend a lot time with some of my best friends and family. St. Scholastica has made such a huge impact on my life and I wouldn’t trade it for anything!

North Shore

This past weekend was so nice! One of my favorite places ever is being up on the North Shore. I grew up going there and like to go there often. Saturday, Jeff and I wanted to go to Gooseberry, Split Rock, and Betty’s Pies. Those are all places I just love, but I ended up with the worst migraine of life. I was so sick to the point where I would lay down and move a little bit and throw up again! My migraine meds weren’t even working. So basically, I ruined the day. Congratulations to me.

Lucky for us, the weather was just fine on Sunday. We tried to get as much done before the weekend so we didn’t even have to worry about it. Since it was a Sunday we only really had time for Gooseberry, but we walked so much when we were there. I’m half convinced Jeff was trying to kill me. Some spots were all ice, some was water, and other spots were feet of snow. We walked around basically the whole main part that everyone likes, then we took the trail out to the lake.

Every once in a while we would go straight through the snow and we’re talking like feet of snow that would go up my whole leg and I would be completely stuck so he had to lift me out. It was so funny. By the time we got there we were so tired haha, but it was definitely worth it! Everyone needs to go there at some point.

A big thanks to Jeff for watching me struggle and not help me, but instead take pictures of me struggling!
