    Caitlin's Bio:
I’m an Advertising/Public Relations major with a concentration in production and design. I’m also minoring in management and marketing. I’m a social media assistant here at the College and love every second of it. Not only does it involve hands on experience in my major, but sets a great foundation for my future. I love to go out in Duluth and spend a lot time with some of my best friends and family. St. Scholastica has made such a huge impact on my life and I wouldn’t trade it for anything!

Job Search

Recently I’ve been on a major hunt for a job after graduation. It’s extremely important to me to start my life after college in Duluth. I grew up coming here and have always loved this town. It was no surprise that I picked to go here. I’m not too far from home and when the weather is just right, this place is awesome!

Living and going to school here has made me want to stay. I most likely will relocate to the cities eventually, but I am in absolutely no rush. Trying to find a job has been one of the most terrifying and exciting experience. It’s SO scary to be at this point in my life, but at the same time I also worked to get here. It’s been unsettling not knowing if I can afford to live here, or if i won’t be able to get a job. This is the type of anxiety that comes with graduation.

I’ve been trying to use all the possible tools I can to help me find a job. I’ve been paying special attention to my resume  and continue to make changes. A resume can really make or break you. Which is super scary, because if you’re like me, you’re completely capable of handling and doing a job successfully, but other people are more aggressive with their approaches. I just hope I can find something soon and will be able to start my new life after college in Duluth! Or else, it’s back home for me :).
