    Caitlin's Bio:
I’m an Advertising/Public Relations major with a concentration in production and design. I’m also minoring in management and marketing. I’m a social media assistant here at the College and love every second of it. Not only does it involve hands on experience in my major, but sets a great foundation for my future. I love to go out in Duluth and spend a lot time with some of my best friends and family. St. Scholastica has made such a huge impact on my life and I wouldn’t trade it for anything!

Just got home from a last minute trip to the doctor. So here’s my awesome story. When I was moving out I hurt my finger really bad from a box haha I know it’s stupid. I pretty much always have my nails done so I just didn’t realize how close my hand was to the box and I jammed it into the side of it. I really didn’t think it was a big deal, but that hurt soooo bad and the acrylic popped right off and instantly bruised. It’s been about a month and it doesn’t look pretty and last night I was getting the worst pain in that finger. It would go through my whole hand, up my arm, and to my heart. So I was like awesome, this kinda really hurts. Since it was swollen my mom made me go to the doctor. A half hour and a trip to the pharmacy later, I’m now on an antibiotic for a week, three times a day haha. That pain I was feeling (and still am) was definitely as bad as I thought it was! Anyways, if that doesn’t work then I might go on another antibiotic for possibly a few more weeks and the doctor was even wanting to do an X-ray, but I really think it’s fine without it. All because of a box…it was empty too.
