TA’ing
I work as a teacher’s assistant (TA) for the psychology department. I enjoy a pretty flexible schedule; professors give me assignments when they’re available, and I grade them within a day or two. I also input grades on blackboard, proctor exams and work on miscellaneous projects. Additionally, I’m looking forward to the possibility of giving a guest lecture in Cognitive Psychology next fall! My favorite thing about St. Scholastica is, without a doubt, how flexible and eager professors are to help you accomplish your goals. All psychology professors to whom I’ve voiced interest in starting a project have either offered me an opportunity to do it (e.g. do research for credit), or supported the idea with knowledge and advice of their own. Perks of a small liberal arts school, I suppose!
