    Conrado's Bio:
Born and raised in urban Madrid, lived in rural northern California and ended up in snowy suburban Minnesota. During the school year you'll find me firmly entrenched in a routine designed to develop my Psychology research skills, and during the summer you will probably not find me at all; in my free time, I enjoy going on trekking trips in the backcountry, adventuring through recondite countries and most importantly spending time with my family.

Philosophical Events

Yesterday, the Philosophy department organized a get-together. It was an informal gathering simply geared towards mingling with the faculty and having an excuse to engage in casual conversation about philosophical topics. We bandied possible movies to watch during the semester, discussed last week’s lecture on reparative justice, and chatted about the experience of being a professional philosopher. It is quite a nice life: you get paid to think about the things which interest you. In truth, how could any job be better than that?

After the informal gathering, there was a slightly more formal discussion with members of the community in which Dr. Ostovich, a retiring professor at the college who was the chair of the department last year, fostered a more formal discourse on reparative justice.

Overall, it was a very pleasant evening full of free food, great conversation and even better company!
