    Born and raised in urban Madrid, lived in rural northern California and ended up in snowy suburban Minnesota. During the school year you'll find me firmly entrenched in a routine designed to develop my Psychology research skills, and during the summer you will probably not find me at all; in my free time, I enjoy going on trekking trips in the backcountry, adventuring through recondite countries and most importantly spending time with my family.

Greek Cuisine!

Today, Global Cultural Association hosted another event! This time, it was time for Greece. The president of the club gave an overview of the country, its traditional cuisine and culture, and then proceeded to demonstrate how to make a Tzatziki, a well known Greek appetizer (or “meze”) originally made from made from thick yogurt, cucumber, garlic, olive oil, and fresh dill. However, while buying the ingredients for the event a few days ago, we serendipitously stumbled upon a kind Greek-american in the store who recommended we used sour cream instead of yoghurt  (because of how processed and sugary yoghurts are here). It was quite the coincidence to encounter him there, but I am sure grateful: the Tzatziki, with his tips and recipe, turned out to be delicious!
