    Connor's Bio:
I am a Transfer Student at CSS. Previously I've been at Concordia St. Paul and University of Minnesota, Duluth. I'm engaged to a girl that got me to Scholastica. I love to write and read poetry, and want to be a Creative Writing Professor when I grow up. I think breakfast foods are the greatest and should be eaten at all meals. My favorite thing about St. Scholastica is how accessible everything is. The greatest feeling about that is coming up with a goal that you want at CSS and having the resources to reach it.

This last weekend I got to do something that doesn’t happen too often in the school year for me: Video Gaming!

Uncharted 2: Indiana Jones gets a new name.

I got to jump into Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and finally finish it. I picked it up at Game Stop over Christmas Break (don’t worry, I beat Uncharted 3 first). It’s visually amazing and the story is fast paced and very reminiscent of National Treasure/Indiana Jones. The only major downside to this game is difficulty at times. Maybe I’m just an inadequate gamer, but I found myself rage quitting at different points because of how often I died. Thank goodness for checkpoints.

Heavy Rain – Get your popcorn ready.

Next up was Heavy Rain. This one was all over the place. The player took the place of a handful of characters, all hunting down the “Origami Killer”. It’s got a really different style of gameplay: heavy on story and quick time actions, light on other game play elements. This one is definitely worth picking up, just make sure to play it all the way through.

Again, this is something great that can’t happen during the school year – I blame homework.
