Stavanger’s tie to Enger Tower in Duluth?
The picture you see here is the Three Swords Monument. They stand about thirty feet tall and were erected to symbolize a great battle that took place in Stavanger hundreds of years ago and unified Norway. So how does this have anything to do with Enger Tower? Well I’m glad you asked! They were constructed thanks to King Olav in the 80’s, the same Olav, that during his Prince-hood constructed Enger Tower in Duluth! Crazy that I blogged about both monuments without even realizing that I would be aware of their connection later. Not to mention the 30-foot bronze swords rising out of the stone look super badass.
