    Brandon's Bio:
My major is on the left, but it’s taken me six major changes, two minor changes and three graduate-track changes to get there. I’m from a small farming town west of the Twin Cities and came to Duluth for the city and stayed for the school. I work at the Burns Wellness Center at the front desk and have pretty much the best job in the world. I like to take any opportunity thrown at me, and since coming here I’ve been thrown plenty. Life’s an adventure, and so is CSS!

In Old English, the word Monday is not surprisingly derived from ‘Moon Day.’ But in our fast-paced lives and society, we naturally do not care about that.  Instead, we use Mondays as the pinnacle most miserable day of the entire lunar cycle. So what does one DO on the first business day of the week? Well, if you’re in Duluth, there are a few things! If you are or aren’t of legal drinking age, several places offer special deals to brighten up this dark day.

Like pool? Like darts? Then you should stop by Dubh Linn’s Irish Brew Pub on Superior Street where you can play them all for free!

Perhaps pizza sounds good to you! If so, The Rex Nightclub underneath the Fitger’s Complex gives you FREE pizza!

If you are of legal drinking age, Burrito Union on 4th Street and Little Angie’s Cantina in Canal Park spoil their customers with half-off margaritas ALL DAY LONG!

And if none of this interests you, in these warm months, nothing can be more fun that a campfire on the sandy shore of Lake Superior. The glistening city paints the perfect backdrop for a nice evening.

You stay Classy, Duluth!
