    Brandon's Bio:
My major is on the left, but it’s taken me six major changes, two minor changes and three graduate-track changes to get there. I’m from a small farming town west of the Twin Cities and came to Duluth for the city and stayed for the school. I work at the Burns Wellness Center at the front desk and have pretty much the best job in the world. I like to take any opportunity thrown at me, and since coming here I’ve been thrown plenty. Life’s an adventure, and so is CSS!

I made it! After a quick trip across the North Sea via plane, I have officially taken every motorized way of transportation in Norway. Phew. Anyway, my first look at London was busy! Busy, busy, busy. The Paralympics are going on here and remnants from the Olympics can be seen everywhere. I want to go see the Paralympics but will most likely not get the chance, seeing as how I’m going to see my college tomorrow. Crazy!

I also decided to do a quick jog, something I haven’t done since I left the states, and Hyde Park under the setting sun was the perfect backdrop for my welcome.

So as I sit in my hostel talking with my awesome roommates abou the Duluth flood, Koalas carrying chlamydia and one of our roommates dating their ex’s dad, I feel like I’m already starting to settle into the city that will be home the next several months.

And with that, my backpacking adventure comes to a brief halt, and will begin again come December 15th. Until then, we’ll just have to see what this city has to offer!
